It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the mining accident in River Nile province of Sudan, where many people lost their lives and others remain trapped under the collapse.
We extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to the people of Sudan. We hope for the swift rescue of those still trapped.
