We have learned with great sorrow that, many of our brothers have been killed and wounded in a twin terrorist attack perpetrated today (15 January) in Baghdad.

We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack and convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly people of Iraq, wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will continue to be in full solidarity with the people and government of Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
