Press Release Regarding the Flood Disaster in Sri Lanka

We have learnt with sorrow that thirty seven people lost their lives as of today (May 18th) in different parts of Sri Lanka due to the flood and landslide, caused by heavy rain and storm continuing for the last few days.

We convey our condolences to the friendly people of Sri Lanka, particularly to the families of those who lost their lives. If needed, Turkey stands ready to provide assistance to Sri Lanka to heal the wounds of these difficult days.
