Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attack in Samarra, Iraq

We strongly condemn the terrorist attack which aimed at a police station in Samarra, Iraq causing the death of more than 40 members of security forces and the injury of tens of others. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their bereaved families and hope for a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will continue to stand in solidarity with friendly and brotherly Iraq in its fight against terrorism as it has done so far.
