Press Release Regarding the Attacks Perpetrated Against Lamu Island and Tana River Regions in Kenya

We have learned with deep sorrow that dozens of people lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks claimed by Al-Shabab group and perpetrated in Lamu Island and Tana River regions in Kenya on 5 July 2014.
We convey our condolences to the people of Kenya who have been exposed to terrorist attacks recently and to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in this last attack and hope for a speedy recovery of the wounded.
Turkey strongly condemns these heinous attacks.
